Customers

HMB lets you create a database of your customers.

For each Customer you can create one or more 'Contacts' and one or more 'Sites.

A Job is for a specific customer and optionally you can choose a Site and a Contact (recommended) associated with the Job.

By adding Site's and Contacts you also get:

  • Click to email

  • Click to call

  • Click to text

  • Click to navigate

Contacts

Usage of Contacts is optional but highly useful.

When creating a Job you can select the primary Contact from the Customer's list of contacts.

Sites

A Site is an address associated with the customer.

When creating a Job need to choose the Customer and ideally you should select the Site associated with the job (allows you to click to navigate to the job).

Hourly Rate

Customer Type

The Customer Type can be used to filter the list of customer.

Disbarred

Mark a Customer as 'disbarred' if you no longer wish to work with them.

The Hourly Rate defines how much you charge per hour for your Labour. The hourly rate is used by Time and Materials Jobs to calculate the amount to be invoiced based on and can be used when doing Estimates and generating quotes for Fixed Priced Jobs.

You can provide a per customer Hourly rate or leave the hourly rate blank to use the System defined .
